While holding one wrench, turn the other in a clockwise direction so that the blower wheel can be removed). Locate the drive motor clips and with a screwdriver inserted in slot, press downward and remove the drive motor clip. Next, make an alignment mark of the position of the drive motor as it sits in the motor cradle and lift out the drive motor. NOTE: The replacement drive motor is to be reinstalled in the motor cradle in the same position as the defective drive motor that was removed. Failure to do so would result in misalignment of the drive motor and might allow it to rub against the dryer drum as the drum is turning.
Install the replacement drive motor by mounting in the same position as the defective drive motor that was removed. Follow instructions and procedures provided with the replacement motor. If no installation steps are provided, reverse the above steps.
